EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Photos released by Illinois State Police show three armed men who allegedly robbed a southern Illinois casino and wounded a casino guard.

In the photos, three men are seen wearing disguises and armed with rifles walking through the Casino Queen in East St. Louis on Sunday, holding guns on cashiers and fleeing the facility.

Authorities say the suspects fired at an unarmed guard before escaping with an unknown amount of cash. The security guard underwent surgery and is reported recovering from his wounds in a St. Louis hospital. Officials did not release his name or details of his injuries.

No patrons of the casino were injured during the incident.

The casino was closed following the robbery and remained closed until Monday morning.
