LYNNFIELD, Del. — Police in Delaware say a mother and son are on the loose after exploiting an elderly person.

WDEL reported Tuesday that the duo is being sought by the New Castle County Police.

Authorities said the mother and son stole more than $1,500 by unlawfully using the credit card of an ailing older adult.

The suspects are 52-year-old Lisa Esposito and 32-year-old Michael Esposito. Police said the Espositos began committing their crimes in December in Lynnfield, Delaware. A warrant was filed for their arrest on Monday.
