LAFAYETTE, La. — Police say the death of a 22-year-old man who was found shot inside a vehicle at a Louisiana park has been ruled a homicide.

News outlets report he was found at Brown Park in Lafayette on Monday at 2 p.m.

Lafayette police Cpl. Karl Ratcliff says the gunshot wound Jaleel Bonham had suffered led to the homicide ruling.

Police do not believe the shooting is related to any other incidents at this time.
