NEW YORK — Chicago Cubs pitcher Anyel Beato and Los Angeles Dodgers minor league pitcher Oliver Polanco have been suspended for 72 games under baseball’s minor league drug program following positive tests for metabolites of Stanozolol.

The penalties for the players, both in the Dominican Summer League, were announced Friday. There have been 62 suspensions this year under the minor league drug program and five under the major league program.
