Bedford North Lawrence came up with two three-set victories to secure a 3-2 win over Seymour on Friday in the final day of Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament action.

The Owls (8-6) finished 6th in the HHC with the loss.

Ty McCory defeated Ian Dillman 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and Adam Berry topped Logan Bland 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Owls.

The Stars’ Jesse Hernandez outlasted Issac Hardin 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 2 doubles, the Owls’ Brandon Hubbard and Pablo Jimenez fell to Evan Waggoner and Christopher Kidd 6-3, 1-6, 6-4.

SHS’ No. 1 doubles team of Sam Schmidt and Will Rinehart fell to Corbin Bushey and Issac Titche 6-3, 6-2.

Seymour will host sectional starting Wednesday. The tournament draw will be released Monday evening.
