Braves finish top-10

BEDFORD

Brownstown Central scored 204 points to finish 7th of 18 teams at the Ted Fox Invitational on Saturday.

Noblesville were champions with 36 points, Floyd Central finished runners-up with 37 and Edgewood took third at 77.

Edgewood’s Annalyssa Crain was champion in 18-minutes, 25-seconds.

Kaelyn Johnson paced Brownstown Central, placing 27th in 21:50.

Brownstown’s Grace Garland and Claire Poulton took 44th and 45th in 23:05 and 23:06, Shauana Drake timed 23:14 for 49th, Emma Winks placed 54th in 23:29 and Madison Klinge was 61st in 23:39.

Braves 11th at invite

BEDFORD

Brownstown Central’s 336 points placed them 11th of 16 at the Ted Fox Invitational on Saturday.

Floyd Central won the invite with 70 points, followed by Terre Haute North (79) and Terre Haute South (88).

Edgewood’s Austin Haskett had the fastest time on the day, winning in 15:53.

Jeremy Pitts led Brownstown Central by placing 38th in 18:16.

Ethan Caroll (56th, 19:01), Trey Hackman (60th, 19:09), Mason Kellogg (97th, 20:57) and Sean Tharp (106st, 22:03) were the other scoring five for the Braves.
