FREETOWN
Gary C. Kreinhagen, 68, of Freetown, died at 1:15 p.m. September 24, 2017, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab.
Gary was born June 7, 1949, in Seymour, the son of Eugene and Christine Kreinhagen. He married Cecelia Leach and she survives.
He was a former employee of the Seymour Airport. He loved to fish and do woodworking.
Gary requested that no funeral services be held. Instead, he wanted his friends to get together to celebrate and remember him.
Survivors include his wife, Cecelia; daughter, Nicole Kreinhagen; stepson, Larry Wallace; stepdaughter, Stacie Shelton; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson, Billy Wallace.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
