BURLINGTON, Vt. — University of Vermont students will meet with administration over diversity issues on campus after a rally.

UVM Black Student Union President Harmony Edosomwan, a sophomore, says talks with the administration will begin Wednesday. The Burlington Free Press reports (http://bfpne.ws/2xF2koa ) Tom Sullivan, the president of UVM, wrote to students that rallied Monday in order to invite them to meet with him and other administrators.

The students at Monday’s rally had a number of demands including mandatory diversity and equity training for all administrators, staff and faculty members and hiring a more diverse staff and faculty.

Sullivan says the planned talks will last for two days.
