CHARLESTON, S.C. — Officials have released the name of a man who was shot and killed on a street in South Carolina.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office said in a news release that 33-year-old Darnell White of North Charleston died at the scene Tuesday night.

A person with White was also shot and was taken to the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital for treatment. There was no word on the person’s condition.

No arrests have been made.

Charleston police have not determined the motive for the shooting.
