FRISCO, Texas — Authorities say five children and one adult have been taken to hospitals after a car hopped a curb at a suburban Dallas daycare center and crashed into a fence.
Frisco Fire Department Capt. Kevin Haines says the fence, bordering a playground, fell on those hurt late Thursday afternoon.
One child is reported in critical condition and three are listed as stable. Conditions of the others aren’t immediately available. Ages of the children, described by Haines only as “younger,” also haven’t been released. At least two children were taken to a Dallas hospital by helicopter.
Police say the crash at the Primrose School of Frisco is under investigation and the driver of the car hasn’t been charged.
Frisco is about 25 miles north of Dallas.
