NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A Tennessee man is charged in what police describe as the targeted murders of two men in a parking lot.

The Tennessean reports that Metro Nashville police said in a statement that 23-year-old Oscar Delgado-Flores, of Smyrna, is charged with two counts of criminal homicide in connection with the Sunday deaths of 18-year-old Yeri Gabino and 34-year-old Hector Pagada.

Police say Gabino and Pagada were inside a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex, when gunmen emerged from another car and opened fire, killing them both. The gunmen fled the scene. Their car was later located in Rutherford County.

The release says Delgado-Flores told detectives Wednesday that he drove that car. Additional arrests are expected.

The motive remains under investigation.

It’s unclear if Delgado-Flores has a lawyer.
