Library to host Adult Book Club

0

The Adult Book Club plans to meet at 11 a.m. Oct. 13 at Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

“Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee and “The Mockingbird Next Door” by Marja Mills will be discussed.

The club is designed to provide an informal, congenial atmosphere for patrons 18 or older to share their literary interpretations of the current book selection, according to a news release from the library.

Everyone should read the month’s selection before the meeting. Feel free to attend even if you haven’t finished the books as long as you don’t mind hearing how they end. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the discussion, but listeners are welcome.

Light refreshments are served by individuals from the group on a volunteer basis. Extra copies of the book selections are available one month in advance at the library circulation desk.

Karen Raymer will lead the discussion.

Registration is requested. To register, visit at the circulation desk or call the library at 812-358-2853.

This program is free and open to the public.
