Braves beat Cougars

RAMSEY

Brownstown Central swept North Harrison 25-13, 25-20, 25-14 on Tuesday in a Mid-Southern Conference match.

The Braves went 69-for-77 with 29 kills as a team. Keeli Darlage led BC with 13 kills and Claire Pace had 25 hits.

Serving, Madisen Polly and Pace each pushed across three aces.

Brooklyn Snodgrass recorded 11 digs for the Braves.

Brownstown (17-11) hosts Salem on Thursday.

Cougars top Lions

Trinity Lutheran defeated Rock Creek Academy 25-13, 20-25, 25-11, 25-21 on Tuesday.

Hannah Sabotin led the Cougars with 12 kills, Ashley Goecker had 16 digs and Courtney Barker amassed 28 assists.

The Cougars (17-11) will play Thursday at Floyd Central in a varsity-only match.
