Lucille M. Miller, 88, a lifelong resident of the Crothersville area passed away at 6:22 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, Indiana.

A 1946 graduate of Tampico High School, she especially enjoyed the annual school reunions and the opportunity to visit with fellow alumni. She was also a homemaker and a longtime, dedicated member of the Crothersville First Baptist Church where she assisted with many activities.

In earlier years she and her husband, Bill, enjoyed travel around the country with close friends, family reunions, baking, reading, church picnics, going to flea markets, and local community events. Lucille was born in Tampico, Indiana, on October 15, 1928.

Her parents, Cecil King and Eva (Stout) King preceded her in death as did a brother, Marion King. On May 10, 1947, she married George W. “Bill” Miller who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Kevin W. Miller of Arlington, Virginia; a daughter, Linda S. (Dan) Musselwhite of Jasper, Indiana; two grandchildren, Chad I. (Erica) Musselwhite of Bloomington, Indiana, and Luke A. Musselwhite of Jasper, Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Alice Musselwhite; a brother Merrill (Sue) King; a sister Margie (James) Huls; six nephews and two nieces; her caregiver, Tracie Kovener, as well as many friends in the church congregation and the surrounding community.

Pastors David Schill and Randy King will conduct funeral services on Friday at 11:00 A.M.at the First Baptist Church of Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.at the Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville and after 10:00 A.M.on Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Lucille’s memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Crothersville or the Crothersville Senior Citizens Center.
