FREETOWN, INDIANA

Linda Sue Griffin, of Freetown, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at home. She was born November 1, 1949, in Seymour, to the late Thomas Byarlay and Mary Ann (Clampitt) Byarlay.

She married Jerrie Griffin on July 20, 1968, he preceded her in death. Linda was a member of Ratliff Grove Christian Church. She was a former Family Care Case Manager for Jackson County. She enjoyed going to her granddaughters sporting events, attending family activities, and visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She is survived by her mother; children, Jeri Furman and Lawrence ‘Butch’ (Cheryl) Griffin; grandchildren, Hannah Furman, Kayla Griffin and Kristina Griffin; and sister, Beverly (Dean) Tackett.

She is preceded in death by her father; and her husband.

Graveside service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, October 13, at 11 am at Freetown Cemetery with Rev. Troy Munson officiating.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from.4-8 pm and on Friday from 9-10:30 am.
