Red Ribbon Week campaign planned at county library

The Jackson County Public Library will join the nation in taking a stand against drugs during Red Ribbon Week, which begins Monday and ends Oct. 31.

The campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people, according to a news release from the library.

The mission of the campaign is to present a unified and visible commitment toward the creation of a drug-free America.
