The Seymour First United Methodist Church women will sponsor their 16th annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the church at Third and Ewing streets.

Exhibitors from Avon, Brownstown, Columbus, Crothersville, Deputy, Indianapolis, Jeffersonville, North Vernon, Paris Crossing, Scottsburg, Seymour, Scipio and Vallonia will be displaying their merchandise.

Items to browse through will include clothing, crocheted and knitted items, Christmas decorations, crafts of all kinds, jewelry, purses, hair bows, embroidered items and candy and cookies, just to name a few.

Lunch, baked goods, candies, coffee and soft drinks will be available throughout the day.

A silent auction will be going on with items including Cincinnati Reds tickets, gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses and more.

Proceeds go to local mission agencies and United Methodist mission groups.
