Brownstown/Ewing Main Street, the Brownstown Chamber of Commerce and the town of Brownstown are partnering for a new event.

A Halloween costume parade will start at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald’s, 321 N. Main St., Brownstown. Children will walk to the Jackson County Courthouse square, where they will visit candy stops at places around the square and inside the courthouse.

Candy bags will be provided.

The event will finish at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St., with a showing of the movie “Hotel Transylvania.”
