The Cortland Elementary School parent-teacher organization is preparing for the school’s annual fall festival and auction Nov. 4.

There will be a variety of carnival games and activities for children in the gymnasium from 4 to 6 p.m. and a supper of homemade chili and desserts and other items available for purchase.

At 6 p.m., the live auction, featuring gift certificates, merchandise, admission tickets and other items donated by area businesses, will be conducted.

Proceeds from this event are used to provide educational materials, awards and programs for the students throughout the school year.

The school is at 6687 N. County Road 400E, Seymour.
