To help aid the victims of hurricanes Irma and Maria, Seymour’s Bonanza Steak & BBQ will conduct an all-day “Buy One, Give One” fundraiser Tuesday.

During that event, the restaurant at 2045 E. Tipton St. will donate $1 for each entrée or buffet sold to The Salvation Army.

“As part of the Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouse family, we wanted to do something meaningful to benefit hurricane victims in Florida and Puerto Rico,” said Mike Everhart, local owner and operator of the restaurant.

“In Puerto Rico, our Ponderosa and Bonanza franchisees employ over approximately 1,000 team members. The devastation there was immeasurable, and it could take months, if not years, for that island to rebuild.”

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
