A Halloween event scheduled for Tuesday night in Brownstown has been postponed because of the forecasted weather.
It has been rescheduled for 5:15 p.m. Oct. 31.
A costume parade will start at McDonald’s, 321 N. Main St., Brownstown. Children will walk to the Jackson County Courthouse square, where they will visit candy stops at places around the square and inside the courthouse. Candy bags will be provided.
The event will finish at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St., with a showing of the movie “Hotel Transylvania.”
Brownstown/Ewing Main Street, the Brownstown Chamber of Commerce and the town of Brownstown are partnering for the event.

Residential trick-or-treating is set for 6 to 8 p.m. that day.
