CROTHERSVILLE

Allene Howard, 74, of Crothersville, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at her home. Born August 12, 1943 in Lansing Michigan, she was the daughter of Dallas and Leona (Swanson) Harris.

Allene enjoyed spending time with family playing cards, going to the casino. She enjoyed time with her girls and will be remembered as the mother that was always there for her children no matter what.

Survivors include her daughters, Ethelene (John) Edwards of Medora, Carolyn (David) Robinson of Jonesville, Tammy (David) Pfaffenberger and Rose Clark both of Uniontown; sisters, Kathlene Moffatt and Jerryleen (Roger) Engle; grandchildren, Joshua Howard, Rocky Howard, Joey Howard, Eugene (Natasha) Minton, Brandy Campbell, Lanna Minton, Teresa (Jason) Combs, Jennifer (Jay) Marks, Judith Burgess, Amanda (Martin) Malagon and Joshua Redwine; great-grandchildren, Blake, Jude, Braden, Skylan, Katelynn, Krislynn, Hunter, Gage, Edwin, Lydia, Mackenzie, Chaze, Shaelah, Michael, Emma, Billy and Aiden.

Allene was preceded in death by her parents and partner of 24 years, Don L. Marsh who passed on August 10, 1994; siblings, Tip Harris, John Harris and Josephine Stout; granddaughter, Mecka Leann Clark.

Pastor Van Breeding will conduct funeral services at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home.
