LAS VEGAS — Police say a car hit a woman and a child before crashing into a Las Vegas home on Halloween night.

KLAS-TV reports that Las Vegas police say the woman and her 3-year-old daughter were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say the car hit the pair in an eastern Las Vegas neighborhood at about 7:30 p.m. The car then veered away and struck a house.
