WAPPINGER, N.Y. — State police say a 16-year-old high school student has died in a one-vehicle accident on a Hudson Valley road.

Troopers say Joshua G. Indorf Jr., of Wappinger, was driving a pickup truck in his Dutchess County hometown around 6 p.m. Wednesday when the vehicle left the road and overturned.

Police say the teen was ejected from the pickup. He was taken to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, where he was pronounced dead.

Indorf was a student at Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls.
