GILLETTE, Wyo. — A 35-year-old Wyoming man has died after he lost control of his ATV and it rolled on top of him in Campbell County.

Sheriff Scott Matheny says Christopher Despot, of Wright, was driving the ATV alone on his property when he lost control at about 10 a.m. Monday.

Matheny tells the Gillette News Record that Despot was thrown from the ATV, which then rolled on top of him.

He was dead when law enforcement and emergency services responded to the crash.
