GREENFIELD, Iowa — Authorities are investigating the death of a man in a farming accident in southwestern Iowa.

Des Moines television station KCCI reports that the accident happened Wednesday just southeast of Greenfield in Adair County.

Officials say 57-year-old Edward Carl and two others were moving corn from a wagon to a grain cart using a grain vacuum on Wednesday when the wagon rolled over Carl.

Authorities say Carl was pronounced dead at the scene.
