A flood warning for the East Fork White River at Rockford remains in effect until Friday morning.

The river crested at 15.90 late Tuesday morning and is expected to remain at or about 15.4 feet throughout today. Flood stage is 12 feet.

The river is expected to recede to within its banks sometime after 7 p.m. Thursday.

At 15 feet, moderate flooding is occurring in Jackson County with some farm fields flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
