LOS ANGELES — An 11-year-old boy was killed and a 1-year-old and two women were injured when a car ran into a people gathered at a taco stand in Los Angeles.

The city fire department says one of the injured is in critical condition after being hit Friday night at the taco stand in Boyle Heights east of downtown Los Angeles. It’s not clear which of the three was in critical condition. The other two are in fair condition.

Police say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
