ONTARIO, N.Y. — Authorities in upstate New York say an 11-year-old boy has been injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash.

WHAM-TV reports the crash happened in Ontario around 7 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say 50-year-old Frederick Barres was driving around his property with his nephew when he lost control of the ATV.

Police say Barres and the child were ejected from the vehicle. Barres was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. Police say the child suffered a concussion in the crash and was airlifted to a hospital.

No further details were immediately released.
