Blue & Co. LLC, an independent accounting and advisory firm, recently recognized several employees at its Seymour office.

Cathy Reed received the David Windley Client Service Award, a companywide award recognizing employees who deliver outstanding service to clients, according to a news release from the Carmel-based company. Reed is information systems administrator of the Seymour office’s administration/IT department.

Others recognized include Holly Fields, who has been promoted to senior manager, and Chad VanLiew, who has been promoted to senior accountant. Both Fields, who joined the company in 2007, and VanLiew, who joined the company in 2014, specialize in audits.

Three certified public accountants also have been recognized for receiving QuickBooks Online certification during training sessions in August training. They are manager, John Gricius; staff accountant, Michael Nolan; and senior accountant, Rachel Sterling.
