NORMAL, IL

George Emil Bohall, 98, passed away on November 13, 2017, in Normal IL. He was born on October 18, 1919 in Vernon Township, Jackson County IN to Willis Altus and Clarice Hughes Bohall.

He married Jean Alexander Bohall on September 20, 1942 at Seymour Central Christian Church, she preceded him in death.

George was a veteran from WWII separating from the Army Air Corp. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America as a volunteer with his two sons in Indianapolis Indiana. He retired from International Harvester having worked in many positions. In retirement, he and Jean painstakingly restored Bedel Pioneer Cemetery, Vernon Township, Jackson County.

Survivors include two sons: Phillip T (Patricia) Bohall, Springfield, VA and Bruce R (Mary Jane) Bohall, Bloomington IL; four grandsons and 5 great grandchildren. His parents and two brothers: Lee and William preceded him in death.

Memorial service & internment at Uniontown Baptist Cemetery, Uniontown IN will be held at a later date.
