A series of children’s programs has been planned for December at Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

Circle of Friends Story Time is for children ages 2 to 6 and is set for 3:30 to 4 p.m. Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 27.

A library staff member will come to the children’s department to let children know that it is time for the program and then will be escorted back at the end of the program.

Each week, children will be introduced to a different theme through a combination of stories, songs, finger plays and crafts.

Children who attend this program should be able to color and use glue sticks independently. A parent or guardian must attend story time with children younger than 3 to assist with finger plays and craft projects.

It is library policy that parents and guardians must remain in the building with all children younger than 5.

Programming will be canceled if Brownstown schools are closed due to the weather.
