The Medora Christmas Festival committee is sponsoring a holiday lights contest.

Now through Nov. 30, committee members will be on the lookout for the best lighted houses throughout Carr Township.

No entry is required, but anyone wanting to make sure their home is included in the judging may send a message via the Medora Christmas Festival Facebook page.

Winners will be announced at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 during the tree lighting ceremony in front of the Medora Library. Prizes are $50 cash for first place, a $25 Walmart gift card for second place and four two-piece chicken dinners from Medora Kwik Stop for third place.

The 45th annual Medora Christmas Festival is all day Dec. 2.
