Dorothy “Dot” Wilcher, 70, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017, at Lutheran Community Home.

She was born on April 18, 1947, in Delaware, Ohio, to Russell and Pauline (Davenport) Ward. On May 29, 1963, in Miamisburg, Ohio, she married Everett Wilcher, Sr. She managed Concessions for Seymour Parks & Recreation Department and Seymour High School for many years. She enjoyed Ohio State football and UK basketball. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by children, Patti McCullah, Susie (Keith) Bowman, Everett (Fonda) Wilcher, Jr. and John (Amy) Wilcher; grandchildren, Stephen (Molly) McCullah, Christopher (Kristy) McCullah, Amanda (Desmond) Applegate, Kayla (Justin) Hamm, Kelsey (Nick) Yatsko, Faith Wilcher, Whitney (Kyle) Vogel, Paige Wilcher, Abby Wilcher, Evan Wilcher, Ian Wilcher and Avery Clark; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 step granddaughter; 3 step great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Linda) Ward; and sisters, Jean(Gary) Kimberlin, Shirley Ward and Mary Buza.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett Wilcher, Sr.; brother, Fred Ward; and sister, Judy Browning.

Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, November 25 at 11 am with Rev. Johnnie Spivey officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 2-8 pm and on Saturday from 10 am until time of service.
