Nelma L. Leckron, 96, of Seymour, passed from this life at 8 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Mrs. Leckron was a homemaker and a member of Columbus Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 am Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Charles Kennedy officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Friday and 9 am to time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Ogilville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Baptist Church.

Mrs. Leckron was born March 12, 1921 in Medora. She was the daughter of Sam H. and Daisy E. Jones Weddel.

She married, Paul F. Leckron on May 17, 1941. He preceded her in death January 3, 2016.

Survivors include her children, Bonnie (David) Koehler of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Betty (Jim) McFall of Seymour, Danny (Carolyn) Leckron of Columbus, Sue (David) Seabrook of Scipio, Tim (Dr. Lynn) Leckron of North Carolyn and Jim (Kim) Leckron of Columbus; 21 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Mancil, Lee, Clayton, Neal and Ernest Weddel; and her sisters, Lorena Jane Weddel and Louise Weddel.
