The community is invited to attend Central Christian Church’s Hanging of the Greens service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of the church, 1434 W. Second St., Seymour.

The service marks the beginning of the season of Advent, a time of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The daycare children will sing, and Come to the Manger, an interactive Nativity for children, will be included.

Those who attend are invited to stay after this special service and join in a time of fellowship and to enjoy finger foods at a Christmas tasting party.
