County library offers teen programming

The Jackson County Public Library offers free programming for teens in grades 6 through 12 in the Teen Scene at the Seymour Library and at the Crothersville Library.

Registration is required for some programs, and space is limited. Sign up at myjclibrary.evanced.info.

The programs at Seymour are:

  • Dorm Room Cuisine: Breakfast pastry, 5 p.m. Jan. 8 (limit 10); S’mores bites, 5 p.m. Feb. 5 (limit 10)
  • DIY Bath Bombs, 5 p.m. Jan. 22 (limit 15)
  • STEM Challenge, 5 p.m. Jan. 9 and Feb. 13 (limit 20)
  • Art Club, 5 p.m. Jan. 30 and Feb. 27 (limit 20)
  • Teen Advisory Group, 5 p.m. Dec. 6, Jan. 10 and Feb. 7
  • “The Wizard of Oz” movie, 1 p.m. Jan. 20
  • “Nine Lives” movie, 1 p.m. Feb. 17

The programs at Crothersville are:

  • DIY Bath Bombs, 5 p.m. Jan. 31
  • LittleBits Project, 5 p.m. Feb. 28

The Seymour Library is at 303 W. Second St., and the Crothersville Library is at 120 W. Main St.
