0

The Jackson County History Center will host an old-fashioned Christmas open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the pioneer village on East Walnut Street in Brownstown.

You will see old-fashioned, handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations and have an opportunity to enjoy traditional Christmas carols and music while sampling homemade treats and cider beside the fireplace.

The Heller Museum will be open for tours. A pioneer mother will be in the cabin to talk about pioneer life in the 1800s, and singing will be in the school/church/meetinghouse.
