Melissa June (Peacock) Glenn, 59, of Crothersville, IN, passed away at her home on Saturday afternoon December 2, 2017. Melissa was born September 5, 1958 in Seymour, IN.

She was the daughter of the late Gayle William Peacock who preceded her in death in 1992 and Dolores June (Johnson) Peacock of Crothersville, IN.

She was a 1976 Crothersville High School graduate. On May 25,1985 at Crothersville Lighthouse Tabernacle in Crothersville, IN, she married Denver L. Glenn Jr., who survives in Crothersville, IN. Melissa was a former employee of Crothersville Community School from 1995-2008 where she was a Librarian Assistant and a Teacher’s Aide. She was recently employed at The Town of Crothersville as the Second Deputy Clerk at the Crothersville Town Hall.

Melissa loved God, was a servant, and a member of Crothersville Lighthouse Tabernacle where she taught Sunday School for over 35 years and was a member of the praise team. She enjoyed singing, listening to music, reading, crocheting, mowing, gardening, working in flowers and was a very talented artist.

Other survivors include 2 daughters, Kristen Elizabeth (Patrick) Peyton of Francisco, IN and Karissa Annette (Jared) Hartsalla of Crothersville, IN, 6 grandchildren, Liev, Miriam, Celia, Dimitri Hartsalla, Elliot Peyton, and Ireland Hartsalla, Siblings, Angela (Russell) Ortman of Seymour, IN, Julia Sawyer of Uniontown, IN, Beverly (Mike) Baker of Crothersville, IN, Rahn Peacock of Crothersville, IN, Chris (Gloria) Peacock of Salem, IN, Gina (Mike) Pruitt of Scottsburg, IN, Keri (Rob) Johnson of Crothersville, IN, Marcie Gay of Sellersburg, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, and an infant sister, Deborah Peacock.

Pastor Jerry Miles will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Crothersville Lighthouse Tabernacle with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM all at Crothersville Lighthouse Tabernacle.
