Two adult classes will be offered this month at the Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

One class features a presentation about Microsoft Word from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Information about the following topics will be presented: starting a new document; selecting text; changing text size and font; changing text to bold, italicize or underline; copying and pasting text; printing a document; creating numbered or bullet lists; saving documents; and how to open a saved document.

Those planning to attend this free program are encouraged to bring their own computer, but if you do not have one, there will be one available. Registration is requested and may be done at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.

The second program, involving the creation of a sock snowman from socks and rice, will be 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 14. All supplies will be provided, but if you would like a certain color sock, feel free to bring your own. This program has a charge of $5 to attend.

Registration is requested and may be done at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.

The class is limited to 10, as supplies and space are limited.
