ELGIN, N.D. — A weekend fire destroyed a John Deere dealership and repair shop in Elgin. No one was hurt.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that firefighters from Elgin, Carson and New Leipzig responded to the Dakota Farm Equipment building at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. They fought to keep the flames from spreading to a nearby lumberyard and other businesses.

The cause of the blaze wasn’t immediately determined.
