30: Code Red, 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Purdue Extension Bartholomew County, 783 S. Marr Road. Learn how to create a plan to steer a farm or business through a crisis or be prepared for one. Free. Register by calling the extension office at 812-379-1665.

31: Farm ownership succession planning workshop, 1 to 4 p.m. at the Purdue Extension Johnson County office, 484 N. Morton St., Franklin. Farm families can learn how to ensure a successful ownership transition from one generation to the next. Cost is $40 for the first four family members and $10 for each additional member. Registration is due two weeks before each session.
