Bob Elkins of Seymour recently celebrated his 80th birthday with family at a surprise party at Bonanza Steak & BBQ in Seymour.

He has two daughters and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He retired from Arvin Industries and Silgan Plastics, both in Seymour. He is a member of the American Legion and often visits the Seymour Senior Citizens Center. He enjoys spending time with his dog, Susie.
