Friends and Neighbors Extension Homemakers Club met Dec. 5 at Royal Buffet in Seymour for its annual Christmas meeting.

After everyone ate, President Ruby Niccum led the group in the pledge to the American flag and the club creed.

Shirley Sears led in singing “Silent Night.” Devotional leader Judy Carter opened her discussion on gratefulness, especially as it relates to the club. She stated group members really care for each other and she personally is grateful.

Niccum reported the bake sale went very well and club members had brought in around $150 worth of items to sell.

Rhonda Kidwell said she was not in favor of a name change for the Fall Fling.

Martha McIntire had researched and reported on the history of the home extension clubs.

Everyone enjoyed playing a gift exchange game entitled “Right or Left Frosty.”

The next meeting will be Jan. 23 at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour.
