NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — A 16-year-old New Rochelle high school student has died after being stabbed in a fight at a local Dunkin Donuts.

Police tell The Journal News Valeree Schwab was with another teenage boy when the two got into a fight with a group of at least six teenagers inside the coffee shop across from Iona College Wednesday afternoon.

Police say one of the teenagers stabbed Schwab in the upper torso. She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where she later died. New Rochelle school district officials say the victim had not been in school that day.

Police say a suspect has been identified but there have been no arrests.
