GOOSE CREEK, S.C. — Three men have been arrested in the shooting death of a man in South Carolina last fall.

Media outlets reported that the arrests announced Wednesday come in the Oct. 7 shooting death of 26-year-old Quron Khalif Allen at a home near Summerville.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said that 27-year-old Gerard Hamilton and his brother, 25-year-old Maliek Hamilton, both of North Charleston, have each been charged with one count of murder.

Goose Creek arrested a third suspect Wednesday following a standoff with a SWAT team. The suspect’s name has not been released yet.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home after a report of gunshots. They found Allen dead on a couch. No one else was inside the home.

There was no word yet on whether the brothers have attorneys.
