WOBURN, Mass. — A man on the Massachusetts State Police most wanted list for his alleged role in fatal home invasion in 2012 has been ordered held without bail.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s office says 28-year-old Steven Touch, who prosecutors say was a leader of the Young Bloods gang, was ordered held without bail on Wednesday after his arraignment on charges including first-degree murder and home invasion.
State police said Touch was found Tuesday night hiding inside a drawer built into a bed frame in a Lynn apartment.
Touch was indicted on murder charges last year for allegedly playing a role in the home invasion in Billerica during which 22-year-old Quintin Koehler was fatally shot. Two other suspects were previously captured.
Touch’s lawyer told WBZ-TV that prosecutors had overreached by charging his client with murder.
