Michael L. Beddoe, 70, of Scottsburg, passed away peacefully at Covered Bridge Health Campus early on Monday, February 05, 2018. Michael was born in Rolla, Missouri on March 1, 1947 to Frieda McIntire and Leroy Beddoe.

He married Sally Jo Wilson Beddoe on October 11, 1997.

Michael was an avid member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scottsburg. He and his late wife Sally enjoyed traveling, especially to the southwest. He enjoyed his time working outdoors. He once owned O’Brien St. Bar and a logging company. He worked for Sallee Engineering, Alpha Engineering, Seymour Manufacturing, was a tow truck driver and a semi truck driver. He retired from Walmart Distribution Center where he was in a management position. After retirement, he worked for KOA Walnut Hills in Virginia. Michael was always excited to share his stories with anyone that wanted to listen and could gladly give you any pointers on what to see or do on any vacation you were about to take.

He is survived by his children, Suzanne Beddoe, Chris Beddoe, Jason Beddoe, Wendy (Robert) Lambrech, Angie (Reggie) Hodson, Tiffany (Chris) Dutton, Forrest Beddoe, Devin (Misty) Wilson and son-in-law, Ben Siefker; and brothers, Bobby McIntire and Joe McIntire. He is also survived by grandchildren, Emerald, Myka, Lexi, Jade, Devin, Koralin, Grace, Chasity, Brianna, Emma and Ryker; as well as five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father; mother and stepfather, Bob McIntire; wife; daughter, Amy Siefker; and brother, Larry McIntire.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Redeemer Lutheran Church (504 N Walnut St, Seymour) on Thursday, February 8 at 12 noon with Revs. Joseph Barlau and Andrian Krebs officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-7 pm and at the church on Thursday from 11 am until time of service.

Memorials may be written to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scottsburg or Redeemer Lutheran Church Mortgage Reduction Fund, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
