James and Patricia Blevins, of Norman, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 1.

They were married Feb. 1, 1958, at the Baptist church in Huron by the Rev. Ott Duncan.

The couple have four children, Debbie (Jim) Stefanek of Zionsville, Jeff (Sheila) Blevins of Medora, Angie Blevins of Lakeland, Florida, and Jamie (Greg) Walker of Medora; eight grandchildren; and six grant-grandchildren.

James is a retired Indiana State Police officer, serving 34 years. He currently is the owner of Blevins Shooting Supply.

Patricia is a retired homemaker and former owner of Pat’s Bridals.

They have been the owners of Blevins Tax Service for 30 years.

They planned to have a small family gathering on their anniversary. An open house will be scheduled for this spring.
