Faye Hoffman, 79, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana .

Born Aug. 18, 1938 in Booneville, KY, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Edna (Duff) Smith.

She retired from Arbuckle Chevrolet in Scottsburg after 20 years and Faye was an avid I.U. fan. She was a member of the Indiana Business Women’s Association and a member of the Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana.

Survivors include her Son, James (Paige) Hoffman, Seymour, Indiana, Granddaughter, Kennedy E. Hoffman, Sister, Geraldine Richie, Scottsburg, Indiana, Brother: Eugene (Irma) Smith, Texas, Nephews & Nieces, David (Christine) Smith, Austin, Indiana, Crystal Smith, Colorado, Jeff Richie, Clarksville, Indiana, Lori Richie, Clarksville, Indiana, Kim Smith, Michigan, Sherry (Mike) McClanahan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Williard and Billy Ray Smith, and a sister, Wanda Lee Smith.

Funeral Service: 1 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Steve Gwaltney officiating.

Visitation will be 10 am to 1 pm Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home

Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
